Toyalove

Toya needed an extra set of hands on the production side to help bring the director's vision for their music video to life. I came on as assistant director, working alongside the director to keep the shoot organized, the schedule on track, and the cast and crew ready for every setup. The goal was simple: let the director focus on the creative while the day ran smoothly behind the scenes.

As assistant director, I worked closely with the director to plan and run the shoot day. I helped build out the schedule, kept track of each setup, and made sure the cast and crew knew where they needed to be and when. On set, I handled the timing and communication so the director could stay focused on the creative, calling cues, keeping takes moving, and flagging anything that could slow the day down before it became a problem.

The shoot stayed on schedule and every planned setup got filmed, which gave the director the time and space to focus on getting the shots right. With the day running smoothly, the cast and crew could put their energy into the performance instead of waiting around, and the final video reflects that. Toya walked away with a finished music video that matched the vision the director set out to create.
